Tahoka Freeway

Tahoka Freeway was an extremely popular bar band from State College, Pennsylvania, during the 1970s & 1980s. Their genre of music was a mix of country and rock, popular at the time. In 1981 they released a 45 RPM record containing "Light Rain" and "Scenery"; both songs received airplay on local radio. "Light Rain" was re-released on a 1994 CD, "QWK TOUR - 25 Years of State College Sound Checks", released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of radio station WQWK-FM. The members included Terry Whitlock, A.J Sottile, Marc Lewis, Andy Jackman, and Fred Curdts. And also former members Larry Bish and Wayne Addleman, who left to join and tour with the Bellamy Brothers band as its pedal steel player. Wayne continued to tour with the Bellamy Brothers for over a decade.
